Since we were young, we've always been told "EAT YOUR VEGGIE'S!" But do you really know the reason WHY? Here's a break down of the different benefits from all you favorite vegetables.
Zucchini- High in Fiber, protein , iron, magnesium, potassium, and vitamins A, C, and B6.
Eat it sautéed, roasted, stir-fried on in salads, YUM!
Spinach- Rich in vitamins and minerals, regulates blood pressure, boost's you immune system, maintains a healthy brain, protect digestion, protects your skin, and some studies have even found it to prevent cancer.
Broccoli- Cleane's intestines, maintains a healthy heart, prevents cancer, great source of fiber, keeps skin young and glowing, protects eyes, rich in calcium.
Onion- Regulates blood sugars, boost's immune system, provided relief for urinary disorders, prevents tooth decay & oral infections, receives sore throat and coughing conditions.
Cucumbers- Relives joint pain, reduces cholesterol, aids in weight loss, promotes digestion, prevents headaches, fights cancer, rehydrates and remineralizes the body, has a high silica content for silky hair, cures diabetes, and controls your blood pressure. Cucumber has also been known to be great for sexual stamina, it helps to make you last longer and is dubbed by some as the organic "Viagra".
Asparagus- Effective in treating Alzhiemer's and Huntington's disease, prevents low birth weight and birth defects during pregnancy, aids in curing epilepsy and urinary tract infection, it's effective in easing premenstrual bloating, also a good remedy for curing hangovers, anxiety and stress.
Brussel sprouts- Full of vitamins, mineral's, and fiber, low in calories and packed with nutrition, help lower cholesterol, helps to regulate inflammation, improve your resistance to diseases.
Cauliflower- Makes your bones stronger, supports brain health, fights inflamation, helps in weight loss, improves digestion, supports healthy vision, reduces blood pressure levels, reduces the risk of developing cancer, keeps your immune system strong.
Peas- Regulates blood sugar, good source of protein, prevent's stomach cancer, high in micronutrients, immune booster, high in fiber.
